The Examination Department of any autonomous Institute plays a vital role in ensuring transparent, efficient and credible assessment processes in accordance with academic rules and regulations and Institutional autonomy. The department is responsible for planning and conducting examinations, preparing academic examination schedules, managing student registrations, issuing hall tickets, coordinating valuation work, processing results and maintaining examination records. To enhance the quality and fairness of evaluation, the CSIBER Institute has implemented a Double Evaluation System since 1995. Under the double evaluation system, answer books are independently evaluated by the Internal and External examiners to minimize subjectivity and improve accuracy in assessment and if the difference between these two examiners is more than 20% , a third evaluation process is carried out as per Institutional norms ensuring reliability and transparency in the declaration of results.

In line with digital transformation and best examination practices, the CSIBER Institute has also implemented an Onscreen Evaluation System to streamline the valuation process and improve operational efficiency. The onscreen system reduces manual handling of answer books, accelerates result processing, enhances confidentiality and ensures better monitoring of the entire evaluation workflow. Onscreen system having the various features such as digital marking, automated totalling and centralized data management help to minimize human errors and maintain consistency in evaluation standards. The integration of double evaluation and onscreen assessment reflects the Institute commitment to academic excellence, transparency and timely publication of examination results.
