School of Computer Science and Applications

Student-Centric Activities

The School actively promotes a vibrant and inclusive learning environment through a range of student-centric initiatives. Regular activities such as coding competitions, quiz contests, poster presentations, and group projects foster creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Co-curricular initiatives like TechFest, Clubs and ASK – Alumni Sharing Knowledge sessions help bridge the gap between academics and industry. Beyond academics, students are encouraged to participate in cultural events, social outreach, and community service, ensuring holistic development and leadership growth.

In addition, a Freshers’ Programme is hosted by senior students to promote camaraderie, inclusiveness, and team spirit among newcomers. The event serves as a platform for creative expression, peer bonding, and smooth social integration into the academic community.

The School conducts a comprehensive Induction Programme at the beginning of every academic year to welcome and orient newly admitted students. The programme familiarizes students with the academic structure, institutional culture, and support systems available at CSIBER. Sessions are organized on academic planning, examination systems, mentorship, placement preparation, and research opportunities.
