Kona Kona Shiksha NISM and Kotak Mahindra CSR Program at CSIBER Kolhapur Empowering Students with Knowledge of Financial Markets
The Kona Kona Shiksha NISM and Kotak Mahindra CSR Program at Chhatrapati Shahu Institute of Business Education and Research, Kolhapur, held from 3-5 March 2023, proved to be a resounding success. The program aimed to create awareness of the opportunities in the financial market as a career, and it received a very good response from students, with 118 students registering for the program.
The three-day intensive training program covered several topics related to the financial market, including the importance of investments, introduction to securities markets, primary and secondary markets, mutual funds, precautions for investing, investor protection, and grievance redressal mechanism. The training sessions were conducted by Dr. V.B. Kakade and Dr. S.S. Suravanshi, both experts in the field.
The program provided participants with the opportunity to gain deep knowledge about the stock market, become a certified financial consultant, and receive a certificate from NISM, which is highly valuable in the financial market industry. Dr. Kakade, an empaneled resource person of SEBI and CDSL Mumbai, brought valuable insights to the program.
The active role played by Anchor Dr. Apte Vishakha and Prof. TVG Sarma, along with the opening speech by Director, SP Rath and guidance from the chief guest, Mr. Anil Patil of SP Wealth, added direction and value to the program. Overall, the Kona Kona Shiksha NISM and Kotak Mahindra CSR Program proved to be a great learning experience and an excellent platform for students to explore career opportunities in the securities markets.
