International Day of Yoga 2023 organised at CSIBER

Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” means Earth is my Home

CSIBER celebrated a yoga session on the International Day of Yoga 2023 on the theme, "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" - which translates to "Earth is my Home at Radhabai Shinde Hall on June 21, 2023, from 7:30 to 8:30 am for its students and employees. As per the directives of the Indian Prime Minister, who views yoga as an invaluable gift of the country and an age-old tradition, the ninth International Yoga Day was observed across the institute. It embodies balance between man and nature, the integration of mind and body, thought and action, restraint, and fulfilment, and a wholistic approach to health and wellbeing of all. Yoga is believed to help finding a sense of one with yourself, the rest of the world, and nature is the goal, not only exercising. It can improve wellbeing by altering our lifestyle and cultivating consciousness. Let us strive towards adoption of International Yoga Day.

Many people from various nations observed International Yoga Day in order to carry out their daily duties more effectively and without endangering their physical or mental health. On June 21, 2023, people around the world commemorated the International Yoga Day to raise awareness of the benefits and realities of yoga for good health. This year's theme was "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" from the yoga tradition, which translates to "Earth is my Home."

Yoga is a work-in, not an exercise.
