Cultivating Creativity: CSIBER's Code Craft Showcase Unveiling Student Software Projects

With esteemed accolades such as being a College with Potential for Excellence (CPE) and re-accreditation by NAAC with an "A+" grade, CSIBER continues to uphold its legacy of academic distinction and student-centered initiatives.

The School of Computer Science and Applications at CSIBER organized a remarkable event, Code Craft – Demonstration of Students' Software Projects, on February 3, 2024. This event served as a platform for MCA, MSc. (CS), and MSc. (CS in Cyber Security) students to showcase their innovative software projects. Under the able guidance of Mr. S. T. More from SoftMore Enterprises, Kolhapur, the event witnessed participation from 13 dynamic groups, each eager to exhibit their creations.

The event comprised a diverse array of software projects, reflecting the ingenuity and creativity of the participating students. With instructions specifying team sizes and presentation durations, the stage was set for a captivating display of technical prowess. Dean of the School of Computer Science and Applications, Dr. SD Bhoite, along with faculty coordinators Dr. RS Kamath and Prof. MB Patil, ensured the smooth execution of the event.

The projects showcased at Code Craft spanned various domains, ranging from practical utility applications to cutting-edge innovations. Among the notable projects were a Lab Attendance System, Deadstock Record System, Salon Management System for RPS Unisex Salon, and an E-Shop platform. Additionally, students presented projects focusing on encryption & decryption, password management, information gathering, web scanning, social engineering attacks, online education systems, and smart cab systems, among others.

Amidst stiff competition, Nitin Sandeep Yadav emerged as the deserving recipient of the first-place award for his exceptional project. His success epitomizes the spirit of innovation and excellence fostered by CSIBER's School of Computer Science and Applications.
