Environment Management is an important issue in the sustainable development at global level. Soon after the Stockholm Conference in 1972, number of Universities started Environmental Science and Engineering courses at graduate and postgraduate level giving more emphasis on basic Science and Engineering aspects of the environment.
In the earlier days, environment was considered as an end product of industrial processes confining only to pollution control of water, soil, air and noise.
It is the need of the time to infuse the environmental concepts in all the functional areas of business development
The M. B. A. (Environment Management) Programme is of two-year duration and is divided into four semesters.

Infused environmental concepts in all the functional area of business management
In-depth knowledge to the students in respect of current business and environmental problems faced by human society to develop scientific attitude among students based on interdisciplinary approach.
Development of holistic view in planning and decision-making.

Modern concepts of Green Industry, green marketing, Eco-labeling for sustainable development.

Graduate candidates in any discipline with 10+2+3 pattern from the recognized University.
Intake: 60
Admission process:
Student will be admitted purely on merit basis through DTE-CET / ATMA / C-MAT .
Reservation:
Reservation for special categories such as SC, ST, NT, OBC, etc. will be as per the Government of Maharashtra, AICTE and other statutory bodies.
Duration:
The degree of M. B. A. (Environment Management) is a full time course and its duration is of Two Years. The course consists of four semesters.
If a candidate fails to clear all the theory papers and project report within four years of his/her registration, the past performance will stand automatically nullified.
If a candidate discontinues any of the terms (i. e. semester – I to IV) on any account, he/she will be allowed to complete the in-completed terms in the subsequent years subject to the condition that it is within the stipulated time duration of Six years.
In addition to the above, once a student’s term (semester) is granted, he/she shall be allowed to appear and pass in any of the subsequent examinations held, provided the examinations are within the stipulated period of Six years.
In case the term (semester) is not granted the student has to seek fresh admission in the next year and complete the term and pass the examination. This too within Six years of his/her registration.

How can I get admission for MBA- Environment Management at CSIBER?
Student will be admitted based on MH- CET for MBA/ MMS conducted by DTE ( Maharashtra State) in the month of March.
All india level exams like C-MAT, G-MAT, ATMA etc. are also eligible with the valid score. Basic degree score must be more than 50% for open candidates and 45% for reserved category candidates. Reservations as per the state government norms.

What is the maximum period to complete MBA- Environment Management ?
A period of 6 years is allowed for a student to complete MBA- Environment Management. After 6 years, the performance becomes null and void.
What are the passing criteria for MBA-Environment Management ?
The student must secure 40% marks out of 60 (semester-end written examination) and 40 (internal evaluation) for individual passing and an aggregate of 50% out of 100 for every course to pass the course.
Who will award the degree of MBA- Environment Management ?
CSIBER is an Autonomous institute affiliated to Shivaji University. So, the degree will be awarded by Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
