The Director, Kolhapur District Disaster Management Cell, Dr Prasad Sankpal approached C.S.I.B.E.R. to collaborate in providing the new INCIDENCE RESPONSE SYSTEM(I.R.S.) software training program on behalf of Kolhapur Collector’s Office. As Kolhapur region in flood prone, it was selected as the nodal center to provide the training to office bearers of Disaster Management Cell in Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Sangli, Solapur and Kolhapur. 60 participants from five districts attended the training program on 11th April 2023, conducted from 10am to 5.00pm. C.S.I.B.E.R provided the computer lab facilities along with faculty and support staff to coordinate the training program. Two faculty members and two students also took the benefit of the training. Dr.Prasad Sankpal the Director, Disaster Management Cell, Kolhapur highly appreciated the role of CSIBER faculty and staff in successful conduct of the event.
